Konkan Railway Organises Safety Seminar ।
Navi Mumbai : A Safety Seminar was organized at Corporate Office, Belapur, under the chairmanship of Shri Santosh Kumar Jha, Chairman and Managing Director, with a focus on reinforcing safety practices and enhancing awareness among staff. The seminar highlighted the critical role of alertness, timely incident reporting, and adherence to safety protocols in maintaining safe and efficient train operations.
As a part of a new initiative to recognize frontline staff, 12 employees were felicitated for their exemplary alertness and were presented with certificates and on-the-spot cash awards for promptly reporting safety-related incidents while on duty. This was the first in a series of 12 Safety Seminars planned across the Konkan Railway network — with four each scheduled at Belapur, Ratnagiri, and Karwar — to further strengthen the culture of safety at all levels.
